What is COPPA?
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a United States federal law that protects the privacy of children under 13 years of age. It requires operators of websites and online services directed at children to:

- Obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from children
- Give parents access to their child's personal information
- Allow parents to prevent further collection or use of their child's information
- Maintain reasonable security practices

- Email address (child's email is never collected)

Parental Consent
Before any child can use Bank Roads, we require verifiable parental consent:
- Parents must create the account and set up child profiles
- We verify parental identity through our consent process
- Parents receive email confirmation of account creation
- Parents can manage all child data through their dashboard
We use a "Parental Consent Plus" method that may include credit card verification, knowledge-based authentication, or other FTC-approved methods.
Parent's Rights
As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

Access all information we've collected about your child
Correct
Request corrections to any inaccurate information
Delete
Request complete deletion of your child's data
Revoke
Withdraw consent and prevent further data collection

Safe Communication
Bank Roads includes safeguards to prevent unsafe communication:
