What is COPPA?

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a United States federal law that protects the privacy of children under 13 years of age. It requires operators of websites and online services directed at children to:

  • Obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from children
  • Give parents access to their child's personal information
  • Allow parents to prevent further collection or use of their child's information
  • Maintain reasonable security practices

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our educational services:

Parental Consent

Before any child can use Bank Roads, we require verifiable parental consent:

  • Parents must create the account and set up child profiles
  • We verify parental identity through our consent process
  • Parents receive email confirmation of account creation
  • Parents can manage all child data through their dashboard

We use a "Parental Consent Plus" method that may include credit card verification, knowledge-based authentication, or other FTC-approved methods.

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

Request corrections to any inaccurate information

Request complete deletion of your child's data

Safe Communication
